Every creative project follows its own journey which brings new ideas to the surface whether it is a residential master plan, a planting plan, a canvas or a blank page.
Paul's artistic understanding of composition line, form, texture, space and balance lends to
his creativity with landscape architecture making each design project a unique work of art.
Besides landscape architecture, Paul is a nationally-recognized artist.
While working towards his Landscape Architecture degree, Paul had his
first pen and ink drawing published in 1987 - his sophomore year at West
Virginia University. By his senior year he had 21 works of art published
and a variety of galleries throughout the US were carrying his artwork.
Currently Paul has had over 153 pieces of art published and has sold
over 50,000 works of art.
Please browse through some of Paul's commissioned samples below to see how his
creativity in landscape architecture stems from his skills as an artist:
My first commission for the Orioles was in 1991 (1 ½ years out of college). I was asked to create corporate gifts that would be a limited edition series. This was one of the neatest projects I ever worked on. (you must read the Certificate of Authenticity!)
My third Orioles commission was for the 1992 Inaugural season. This limited edition commemorative gift was framed in the shape of home plate. (used as corporate gifts and sold at the stadium, where it promptly "sold out")
